Hope everyone has a Happy and Health New Year! Minus the horrible start to 2005, it was one of the best years ever. Hopefully, 2006 will be just as great!

On Dec. 24 I went to Hunter Mountain in the Catskills via http://www.nycski.com/. It was one of the best times I have ever had. Our trek began promptly @ 4am. We got our lunches and met at Egg's to catch the 5:32 LIRR train to Penn. Matt's brother, Sam, met up with us and the 34th street pickup spot. The bus ride there wasn't too bad; the bus was comfortable, warm, and clean. The tour guides were nice and seemed knowledgeable. The facilities at hunter were great. It looked completely modern. There was heat, oh sweet heat! Unlike the cabin area @ mt snow, I froze. Lots of the trails were for more experienced riders, lots of black trails, but the two green trails I stuck to were just fine. The ride back was fine, we saw Napoleon dynamite and drank until I could not stay awake. I will be adding the pics as soon as they arrive.

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Whoa, finally back. I needed more flexibility with my domain name so I purchased an add-on to my existing plan. Sadly, everything stopped working. I eventually logged a trouble ticket with the company and they corrected the DNS resolution issue and now everything is working. Finally!

This is the first time in my life I am praying for snow!

Yesterday was the first of many, many holiday parties. My crew and I from work went to a nearby pub called Radio Mexico. It started a little slow, but after a few drinks the party really took off! I will post the pics when I get a chance.

As for the snowboarding trip, it is on! We will be going to Hunter Mountain on Christmas Eve through nycski.com. I am looking forward to the trip.

Lastly, congratulations to Danni for her outstanding performance. I really didn't think she would make it!

Whoop! So excited! It looks like the snowboarding trip is on. I need to call tomorrow and finalize all the details. I shouldn't get too excited until the tickets are booked, but I can't help it! I will have more info tomorrow.

Hunter mountain, here we come!

The Survivor finale is tonight. For those whom do not know, Survivor is my most favorite TV show of all time. I really don't have a favorite for this series; it will probably be either Rafe/Steph and Lydia. Danni doesn't stand a chance!

I hit the gym today for my first day of cross-training! I did 12 miles on the bike which was about 30 minutes. I felt fine afterwards, though I did not want to push myself too hard. It will be a long 3 months. Dancing lady was on the treadmill. Also, a family came into the cardio room. The age limit in the cardio room is 16. There is a reason. The little girl in the family gets on the treadmill, shoes untied. Starts skipping and laughing. Two minutes later, the treadmill sends here FLYING across the room. She smacks her head on the treadmill, then the floor. It is going to be a long winter.

Let this be an official thank you to Maria for helping me out with the trip stuff. I am applying for my passport this week. Also, she hooked me up with this site, www.contiki.com. It is for single people 18-39 whom do not want to travel alone. Someone at work has done it and had a great time. If the financial situation works out, Europe, here I come.

Strange day today. Didn't get much sleep due to work related issues @ 4am. Think the second call was around 5:30am. Third was 12:30. For some reason, I kept wondering where I was going to run. Forest park? Alley pond? But after getting up, I saw snow! The gym it was. I also biked 5 miles. That sounds like a lot, but biking is so much easier. It took me 15 minutes to go 5 miles.

I went to the mall to get some dog food. I stopped by best buy and saw an awesome deal on a DVD recorder. It was a return, but the price was too good. I bought the Samsung DVD-R120.

The whole computer thing was just not working out. Smaller shows weren't too bad, but working with shows like the marathon, ugh.

Off to do some food shopping and then heading to the gym.

Check out my Web and TV Cam!

Can you tell what I am watching?

Not sure how I made it today. Work was brutal. It didn't help that I had no energy what so ever. I am definitely coming down with something. Going to sleep tonight with a pair of ear plugs as I had another dog debacle last night.

I wanted to do more research on my next adventure trip, but I am just too tired. Yes Sai, you will have to cover :) I am going to rearrange my running schedule too. But I will worry about that after I get some much needed sleep.

Ugh.
