Ran the Alley Pond park 5M today in 36:35. Came in second for my age group. Not bad, all things considering. Sorry Matt, if Michael Jordan can do it, so can I.

Hello everyone! Thankfully spring is here! Today, the temperature is a shocking 71F/21.6C. Last week I went for my run at Michaels Mile near Northern Blvd. for my 10 miler. At the end, I was sure I was going to puke but never felt so happy about feeling so bad. No more gym!

I was able to pull up 3 of the races for this summer:
The Alley Pond strider April 30, 2006 5M
Forest Park Runners Club May 20, 2006 4M
Quantum Feet Sunday, June 11th 2006 4M
College Point ???????

I am looking forward to the first race of the series. In my first year or so of running, I realized I really enjoyed running. The Alley Pond's first race of 2005 is the exact day where I fell in love with running. You not only race other people, but you also race yourself.

While I know I broke this barrier a long time ago, it was pretty cool to look at the stats from my watch and see I have an official record of myself breaking the 1000 mile mark. Yes, 1000 miles!

I ran from my home in Queens Village to Jacksonville Florida!!!!

Lastly, I am looking for a place. Yes, living at home has worn thin. I am just trying to pay off the rest of my college loans and save up the 20% needed for a down payment (for fear of the deadly PMI).

I am focusing my search in Brooklyn, as I want to minimize my commute time. Check out Google Earth, it is pretty cool.
