This is quite funny actually. I was asking around the office looking for advice on areas in Jersey City. I let them know I went to the JC area and was not impressed. Everyone was not suprised. The area was described to be as "tough" and "dangerous." Someone actually told me not to drive around Communipaw ave. Check out a screenshot from my GPS! My middle name is dangerous!
I had a fantastic time at this years Christmas party at Cipriani's. I must have had 8 glasses of wine last night. One minute I was having a nice casual conversation, then next I was dancing the night away.
(Good times.)
I also met up today with JP and Edgar to catch up on old times. Too bad I forgot my camera.
There are a lot of interesting places to go right here at home. I went to the Museum of Natural History yesterday and had a really great time. I used to go a lot when I was a child. It was strange to set my eyes upon some of the same objects 15 years later.
(I knew I shouldn't have called it a phone...)
I haven't been sleeping to well lately. My body is seriously missing the hard, hard training. Not running it killing me. I need to get back into my routine.
(Yes, I am in the bathroom. I do not have pink flowers in my room.)
Lastly, the great apartment hunt continues. I spent the day in Jersey City yesterday looking at areas. Certain parts of Jersey City are a lot more ghetto then I thought. Long live 2pac. I did get to see the new building. I hope this works out. Only time will tell.
Well, I did it! I completed my first marathon. It took me 3 hours and 55 minutesofficial, 3 hours 53 minutes chip. I ordered the pics from the photo company, they should be here in about 2 weeks.
I had an awesome time in Vegas. This all was a great experience. I saw multiple shows including the Blue Man Group and Ka. I did a lot of exploring, though I could hardly walk!
What's next? Well, I need to move. My job is moving to NJ, so this is my chance to get my dream commute. I can then devote more time to other things. Image having a 20 minute commute. Jesus.
(This is why I leave the pic/vid editing to Edgar!)
As for running, I am already missing the hard training. I look forward to snowboarding again, and maybe even biking and swiming. I actually am planning a long hike tomorrow.
I scheduled a week off in April. Where should I go? As I have my passport, the world is my oyster!
I have trained hard for 4 months just for one day. Tomorrow, I will attempt to run 26.2 miles. My last trying adventure was biking with my old buddies for 25 miles. Everyone was hurting, some complaining more than others. Little do they know I will attempt to run that distance, and 1.2 miles more.
I am experiencing every emotion at once. Fear seems to be the primary emotion. Thankfully, I have gotten a few calls from some good people who realize what this means to me.
Death is the only thing that will stop me now. What worries me is, death may come.
