It took me two days, but I just finished seeing the most fantastic movie. Shawshank redemption was made back in 94, so it isn't exactly new. Amazing movie. I highly recommend you see it, if you haven't already.

This past weekend was a lot of fun. I spent a lot of time with family and friends. I also did a lot of packing. Unfortunately, I was exhausted come Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and, well, I want nothing more right now then my bed.

Oh man. Today is a perfect example why I can't wait to get out of here. I was looking forward to enjoying the sunny skies today. Unfortunately, some last minute issues kept me at work longer than I was hoping to stay. Have no fear, the sun was still shinning as I left the office.

But joy was something I was not to experience today. Equipment problems on the LIRR caused my train to be cancelled and my 1hr 15 minute commute quickly became 1hr and 55 minutes.

Well the sun is now gone, I'm exhausted, have a cold, stressed beyond belief, and expressing my frustrations in this blog entry. I am going to have a beer and go straight to bed.

Oh man. My throat is hurting and I am really tired, but somehow I find myself getting ready for the Forrest Park Classic 4 Miler today. This will be my third time running this race. Though I just want to stay home and sleep, tradition and honor begs me to go.

This one's for you, Matt!

This is nice, no?

Though I want to focus on moving, work is sure going to be keeping me busy. We have a major release coming out soon, and this weekend I will be covering. Marvin going on vacation is going to complicate matters. Still, I hope it all works out!

On a side note, I ran the Alley Pond Park 5 Miler I believe 4 seconds faster than last year. I gave 110% during that run. I was glad I didn't puke at the end. I actually told that to the guy infront of me. I came in 2nd for my age group. I really enjoy looking at pictures and the stats of the race. It is nice to know the name of the guy in back of me who shadowed me the last leg of the race, or the guy who just didn't have anything left and you are able to BLOW past him. But the websites for most of the running clubs are just plain lousy. My dad could do a better job.

Well, the time has finally come! I have secured an apartment in Jersey City across the street from Hamilton park. It is a large studio only 10 minute walk from my new job! With this change, I hope to finally find the time to not only go back to school, but help volunteer and maybe join the local running club. I still have a few details to work out, but I should be moving in June 1st.
Good-bye New York.
