Life sure is a strange thing. I opened a fortune cookie last week (congratulations JP and Marie!) that read, "You luck is about to change."

Is that a good fortune or a bad one? Based on my previous posts, things are tough. One of Murphy's law (Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time) just hit me. At the last minute, my moving help managed to get into BIG trouble and might not be able to leave the state. That's a problem since I'm moving to another state.

I'm so tired. But before hitting the sack, I did a final check of my mail and I saw something in my inbox that made all my troubles melt away...

Entry Number: 093687,

Dear David Gonzalez
Congratulations! You have a confirmed spot in the ING New York City Marathon 2007. You're in for the experience of a lifetime.

I got in! I got in! I got in! I had less than a 1 in 2 chance on getting in. Sure enough, I was selected. I will be running in one of the biggest and best marathons in the whole world. The NYC marathon!!!

My health issues prevented me from running San Diego. Not this time. Should I have to crawl the distance, I will.
Life is a strange thing.

Oh man. It is almost 2 am and I just got home from work. I woke up early, worked, ran, packed, worked, and well, just got home. I sure am beat. Looking forward to getting some sleep. With me relocating, the job relocating, and Marvin being out, the next couple of weeks are going to be NUTS!
